SKIN TIP 101 “ DO YOU WANT YOUR TELOMERES TO BE BE LONGER?”

  Well, of course you do! I told you earlier that the longer your Telomere, the longer the Life of your Skin’s Cells. So, don’t you want to do everything you can to keep Skin Cells young? The first thing you should do? Take Vitamin D! Research has shown that people with higher levels of vitamin D usually have longer telomeres. Could that mean if you have a higher level of Vitamin D you’ll probably Age more slowly than people with lower levels – Absolutely! I’m taking it everyday, are you?

Lack of it actually reduces your body’s ability to repair damaged DNA. Hence, it effects the length of telomeres, hence Older Skin Cells. Well, I’m not having that, are you? Best time to take your Magnesium? Before bed. I’ve actually found it contributes to more restful Sleep, and increased energy the next morning. Especially now that the Weather is getting a lot Cooler – All that Cleansing & Scrubbing & Toning you’re doing to your Skin could actually be accelerating the look of Aging - Especially if the Skin Care products you use contain harsh ingredients like Alcohol - Mineral oil – Ammonia – Formaldehyde OR Sodium lauryl sulfate. SLS is an effective cleanser, but it also irritates your Skin & robs it of Moisture! Think about it .... Who wants to use Skin Care products that make your Skin Worse instead of Better ..... SKIN TIP 101 “WOW, HERE’S A TIP THAT’S JUST NOT FAIR

You’ve heard me say “Don’t Smoke – it will kill you & it’s no good for your Skin so you’re not even going to look very good when you go!” Right? So now I have to ask - Did you know  Secondhand Smoke is actually more dangerous to your Skin than if you smoked yourself? Wow! Because there’s no Filter in Secondhand Smoke that Smoke is more Concentrated so the levels of Tar, Nicotine & Carbon monoxide are at least twice as high! So what does that mean for YOUR Skin? You’re getting the same Skin Damage – if not more - than Smokers do if you’re keeping close company with people that smoke OR if you’re spending time in closed in places that Smokers frequent. Kind of makes you want to light up yourself, right? Of course I’D never recommend that, but your Skin would be better off if you smoked yourself – not fair, right?

Why? They increase Skin Hydration while diminishing Skin Inflammation! almost any Skin problem is made worse by Inflammation. Use it as a Night Cream, because it attracts the Sun! Don’t dare go out & get a Glycolic wash before playing a game of Tennis! (Yes I do know someone that did that ONE time!) Have a Lifestyle that inhibits Free Radical damage! They can cause serious Cellular Damage to your Skin – If you exercise regularly, limit Sun Exposure, reduce your Salt & Sugar intake, don’t Smoke & eat foods rich in Anti-oxidants - you’ll be doing a lot to reduce Free Radical damage. If you just can’t be so disciplined, add some Anti-oxidant Vitamin supplements to your Diet – Just Google “ Free Radical Damage” – that should get you going!
